Python is my programming language of choice. Python fits my brain.

I have contributed patches to several of Python’s standard library modules. I am a Python Enhancement Proposal (PEP) Editor.

Python has a great community.

• I am a member of the Python Software Foundation, nominated in 2003. Since February 2006 I have been the Secretary of the PSF, and Assistant Secretary before that. I was a Director of the Foundation for 3 years (2006 to 2009). I contribute to the PSF News blog.
• Ever since I attended my first PyCon in 2004 I have helped out, more each year. I was the Chair of PyCon 2008 & 2009 in Chicago.
